One of the best players in the NFL over the last handful of seasons has been new Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry.

After being signed over from the Tennessee Titans earlier this offseason, Henry is primed to help MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson and Co. take a step forward this year.

In a recent appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, former New England Patriots head coach and NFL great Bill Belichick talked about what makes Henry so hard to stop.

“He’s an explosive player that can push the pile and gain the tough yards when he needs to…The best thing about Derrick Henry is the fourth quarter…He wears defenses down,” Belichick stated.

“The best thing about Derrick Henry is the 4th quarter because he wears defenses down..

The toughest thing about the Baltimore offense is the combination of power and speed”

The four-time Pro-Bowler is one of the freakiest offensive players in the history of the game.

He stands at 6-2 and weighs close to 250 pounds but can run past every defender if need be.

While in Tennessee for eight years, Henry was one of the most dominant offensive players in the league.

He rushed for over 1,000 yards five separate times and rushed for over 2,000 yards once back in 2020.

The two-time rushing leader and former Heisman winner now has the chance to form a deadly duo with Jackson on the Ravens’ offense.

If Baltimore is ahead in the fourth quarter, it could be lights out for opposing teams with the way they want to run the ball.

Fans will have an opportunity to see this duo take center stage against the Kansas City Chiefs tomorrow night when the NFL season kicks off at Arrowhead.
