Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani is on his way to becoming the first player in MLB history to put up 50 home runs and 50 steals in a season and is currently at 44 homers and 46 steals after becoming the fastest player ever to reach 40/40.
His Dodgers are now selling a special food item to honor his quest for 50/50, and it’s much less obscene than some of the recent food items stadiums have been concocting in the sports world.
MLB shared on X that the Dodgers are selling a 40/40 Loaded Fry Helmet to celebrate him reaching 40/40.

There’s no word so far on what the fries are loaded with, but it looks like there’s either some kind of shredded pork or beef on top with some Japanese-inspired toppings, as there’s clearly some kewpie mayo on top, green onions, some sort of sauce, and maybe some togarashi seasoning on the fries.
The photos look good, you just have to hope that the Dodgers aren’t taking things too far and charging $40.40 for this menu item.
Ohtani’s recent bobblehead giveaway night had fans lining up for miles to get the commemorative figure that featured his dog, Decoy, alongside him, so surely fans will flock to order this as well just to get the helmet the fries come in.
These are a solid side dish to go along with a Dodger Dog, and together they should keep you full for a solid nine innings or more.
