Patrick Mahomes is a superhero whenever he takes the field.
At just 28 years old, the Kansas City Chiefs superstar is already one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of the NFL.
But even a three-time Super Bowl champion is not unbeatable.
Former Baltimore Ravens legend Ed Reed recently talked about a possible weakness he sees in Mahomes.
“His weakness is his targets that he likes to go to, from my perspective. … You like to throw the ball to certain people,” Reed said on “Up & Adams.” “… I would exploit that. I’m gonna stay around that guy.”

Of course, Reed is referring to tight end Travis Kelce, who has been Mahomes’ top option in the passing game for years.
There is a reason why Kelce is the NFL record-holder when it comes to postseason receptions (165).
While Mahomes has been under center, his All-Pro tight end has seemingly always been the focal point through the air.
Reed, a safety who is one of the greatest defenders of all time, might be onto something here.
Anytime a quarterback has a ton of success throwing to one guy, he is going to continue to do that.
Yes, Kansas City does have some new weapons this season in the form of speedy rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy and former 1,000-yard wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown.
But Mahomes has played with Kelce his entire career.
The Ravens, who face the Chiefs to kick off the 2024 NFL season, obviously will need to defend Kelce.
They know if they fail to lock him down in the big moments, they could be in some real trouble.
