The Las Vegas Raiders are one of the few teams that could enter this season without fear for Patrick Mahomes.
It is not that the Kansas City Chiefs aren’t the better team or that the Raiders are expected to be a playoff team.
But they beat them the last time around, and Maxx Crosby doesn’t care who’s standing in front of him.
Even so, Crosby, being the competitor he is, has a great amount of respect for those who take the same approach to the game as him.
That’s why, talking on Mad Dog Sports Radio, he acknowledged that he has plenty of respect for Mahomes.

He stated that, unlike most quarterbacks, Mahomes isn’t afraid of going at him or anybody else in the league, and that’s the way the game should be played.
Crosby is a physical force fueled by his determination to be the toughest guy on the field.
He doesn’t care if he’s going against a guy the league is supposed to protect, against a veteran, or against the best player in the league; he’s going to play hard on every single snap.
Mahomes is similar on the other side of the field.
In an era where quarterbacks are overprotected, Mahomes doesn’t use that kind of leverage to just duck the smoke and make the most of the rules.
The Raiders and Chiefs will square off twice this season, and that personal duel will be very fun to watch.
