On Friday night, the San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers engaged in a fierce battle of NL West rivals.

After the Giants fell behind 4-0 and were held hitless by Dodgers rookie Emmet Sheehan for six innings, the bats woke up late in the game.

After the Giants regained the lead in the 11th inning, the Dodgers began to threaten again.

With one out, a rather strange play took place as Mookie Betts popped one up to third baseman Casey Schmitt.

On Twitter, FOX Sports posted a video of this strange play.

This forced Betts into a rundown between second and third.

Michael Busch attempted to run home, but the Giants ultimately caught him in a rundown as well and nabbed him in between home and third.

Betts ultimately reached third, but the Dodgers had given the Giants a huge break.

Junis then regrouped and struck out Freddie Freeman to end the game and secure the Giants’ fifth consecutive win.

However, the Giants lucked out in a key spot and ultimately took advantage of the break the Dodgers gave them,
