The Cincinnati Bengals have one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL in Joe Burrow, and he has attracted lots of respect as a smooth operator who has a steady hand and simply does his job without any wild peaks or valleys.
But depth behind a starting quarterback is essential in football, especially with the large number of signal-callers who missed games due to injury last season.
Cincinnati’s current QB2 is Jake Browning, but the team is reportedly going to meet with Trevor Siemian in order to beef up its depth.
Former #bears QB Trevor Siemian, who has been considered a very valuable asset in every QB room he’s been a part of, is visiting the #bengals tomorrow per source.

Siemian was a seventh-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, and after serving as a backup to Peyton Manning with the Denver Broncos as a rookie, he was their starter for the following two seasons.
Since then, he has been a backup for the Minnesota Vikings, New York Jets, New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears.
A backup quarterback is expected to have a good attitude and not complain about not getting snaps, and if anything, he is welcome to help out with some duties on the sidelines.
Siemian seems to have a reputation for being exactly that type of player.
The Bengals lost a competitive Super Bowl LVI, and last season, they fell in the AFC Championship Game to the Kansas City Chiefs by just three points in a game some say was marred by poor officiating.
Still, with the Chiefs losing wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster and the Philadelphia Eagles losing multiple key players, 2023 may be the Bengals’ best opportunity yet to win their first Vince Lombardi Trophy.
