The New York Knicks beat the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night, defeating their Eastern Conference rivals by a final of 138-129.

Because the Knicks have already secured a spot in the playoffs, they were missing a few of their biggest stars.

For example, Jalen Brunson sat out of the game entirely.

But that gave three Knicks stars a chance to do incredible work for their team.

Immanuel Quickley scored 39 points and made seven three-pointers, while Quentin Grimes scored 36 points and made five three-pointers.

Finally, Obi Toppin was terrific with 32 points and five three-pointers.

As noted by the NBA, they became the first trio of teammates in league history to record 30+ points and 5+ threes in the same game.

The Knicks had already been doing very well lately.

This was their fifth win in a row.

So the victory on Wednesday night was just the cherry on top of a delicious sundae for fans of the team.

They are now positioned as the fifth team in the East and ready to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of the playoffs.

While there is no doubt that Brunson will be leading the team during those games, Wednesday night’s victory showed that Quickley, Grimes, and Toppin will also be a huge part of the team’s postseason plans.

This was definitive proof that the Knicks have a deep roster and powerful players beyond just Brunson and Julius Randle.

The Knicks have just two games left in the regular season.

There is a good chance that Brunson continues to rest and, therefore, that these three stars continue to perform well.
