For the first time ever, NBA teams and scouts got to watch and hear from Bronny James without his father around.

Bronny has made a strong impression during the NBA Draft Combine, and he had some interesting things to say in his interviews with the media.

For starters, he talked about wanting a team to take him for the player and person he is and not because of the fact that he’s LeBron James’ son.

For years, people have speculated whether LeBron would sign with whoever took his firstborn in the NBA Draft, but that no longer seems to be the case.

Considering that, it seems like the Utah Jazz could look to get the USC product.

According to a report by Krysten Peek of Yahoo Sports, the Jazz want to bring Bronny in for a private workout and could take him if he’s available by the time they’re on the clock with the No. 32 pick.

The Jazz have expressed interest in bringing Bronny James in for an individual workout and could be interested in him with the 32nd pick, sources told @YahooSports.

Bronny’s defense, playmaking, and basketball IQ have drawn solid reviews, and he was one of the best players in the combine in shooting drills as well.

Nonetheless, none of that has been enough for him to crack the first round, at least yet.

Still, there should be plenty of interest in his services as we approach the NBA Draft, especially in such a weak draft class.

Whether James will even consider joining his offspring in Utah seems highly unlikely.

But who knows?

We’ve seen crazy things happen in this league, and it’s not like he has anything left to prove at this point in his career.
