The Golden State Warriors recently lost one of their most important pieces.

Bob Myers won’t be back as the team’s GM next season, being replaced by Mike Dunleavy Jr., who had been sort of his protegé over the past couple of years.

Notably, he’s not the only fan favorite that’s going to be on his way out of the front office.

According to a report by NBC Sports Bay Area, three-time NBA champion Shaun Livingston will also step down from his role in the organization.

Livingston reportedly told the franchise about his decision and has already moved to Las Vegas with his family.

The former point guard reportedly wants to focus on his family and spending time with his kids, which is normal, considering he was drafted straight out of high school and spent 15 years in the NBA before serving in the front office.

Livingston spent the final five years of his career with the Dubs and became an integral part of their success, making an impact on both ends of the floor with his high basketball IQ and lanky arms.

He joined the Dubs’ front office one year after retiring, serving as director of player affairs and engagement, immediately becoming a well-known and respected voice among the players.

Notably, Livingston credited Myers for his transition to the front office after his playing days, citing that he chose that over pursuing a career in coaching.

But enough is enough for Livingston, and chances are we won’t see him tied to the game of basketball again for another while.
