The New York Jets have never had a quarterback of Aaron Rodgers’ caliber.
With all due respect to the great Joe Namath, the only man who could lead this team to the ultimate glory, Rodgers is already the best quarterback to lace them up for them, at least until proven otherwise.
Needless to say, there’s nothing like being a professional athlete, let alone a superstar, in New York.
That’s why Rodgers has taken his celebrity status up a couple of notches since arriving in the Big Apple.
Now, the former Green Bay Packers superstar was spotted at UFC 302 in Newark with his former teammate Marcedes Lewis, stealing the spotlight once again (via Jackstollow).

It’s never been unusual to see professional athletes attend these kinds of events, and Rodgers is a big sportshead, so he always tries to attend as many sporting events as possible.
Nonetheless, it seems like this is the happiest we’ve ever seen him.
It seemed like he had already worn out his welcome in Wisconsin, and that didn’t have anything to do with his power struggle with the Packers’ front office.
Rodgers looks renewed and rejuvenated, and that could do wonders for a player like him.
People hold his postseason struggles against him and rightfully so, as being one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time and only having one Super Bowl ring don’t seem compatible.
But with this new-found motivation and the Jets’ defensive juggernaut, don’t be shocked if he joins the short list of Jets legends in his first full season with the team.
