The New York Jets should have a better 2024 season now that Aaron Rodgers is fully healthy after suffering a torn Achilles in Week 1 last year.
Rodgers has only played one offensive series since coming to the Jets, but with no setbacks in his recovery he should be ready to roll once the regular season comes around.
The future Hall of Famer may be in the twilight of his career, but he’s got a great chance to compete with a New York team that’s brimming with young talent on both sides of the field.
If Rodgers is able to stay upright and make it through the regular season, the Jets should be considered a sneaky playoff team.
Meanwhile, Rodgers’ former team the Green Bay Packers just agreed to an extension with Jordan Love that will pay him $220 million.
When asked about the news, Rodgers had a hilarious response via NFL.
“Well first of all since you mentioned it, I want to give a shoutout to Jordan Love becoming the highest-paid player in the NFL,” Rodgers said. “J. Love don’t spend it all in one place, but if you do I still have a house in Green Bay that’s up for sale.”

Rodgers and Love were teammates while the former was with the Packers and the two have a good relationship.
As Rodgers jokes, Love is welcome to purchase his home in Green Bay which should’ve given the fans there a good laugh.
However, the focus for Rodgers will be staying healthy and leading New York to a playoff berth.
