We are getting closer and closer to the NBA Draft and more players are declaring their intentions to play in the league.

If you follow college basketball then you have heard of Isaiah Wong out of Miami.

He was the 2022-23 ACC Player of the Year and put up 16.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.2 assists during his 37 games this season.

Now he is going to the 2023 NBA Draft, according to CBS Sports.

Wong entering the draft might end up being a very big deal.

But some people are wondering if his move is coming too soon.

Wong is the sort of young, fast, and energetic guard who could do very well in the NBA.

But no one is quite sure where he will land in the upcoming draft.

According to ESPN, Wong is ranked as the 12th best point guard in the draft but the No. 71 pick overall.

That would put his selection late in the second round or possibly even undrafted.

However, Miami’s recent success in the NCAA tournament might help his star shine a bit brighter and could assist him in a big way.

The Hurricanes made it to the Final Four and Wong became the first Miami player to win ACC Player of the Year since 2013.

He had a particularly great game in a second-round game over Indiana when he scored 27 points and 8 rebounds.

He has received a lot of attention lately for his impressive college games, but will it be enough to lead Wong to the big league?
