The NBA is undoubtedly the biggest basketball league in the entire world.
But the NBA would never have managed to stay at the top for so long if it weren’t for consistently making changes in hopes of improving the experience for everyone involved in the league.
Commissioner Adam Silver deserves a lot of credit for the recent success of the NBA.
During his tenure, Silver has made a plethora of changes to the league, and most of them have been welcomed by players and fans.
Silver is now planning to revamp the NBA Draft and expand its duration to two nights, as revealed via NBACentral on Twitter.
“We’re working on it. And it’s something that we have to continue to work through with our network, ESPN and ABC, which broadcast the draft,” Silver said.

While Silver revealed that the NBA is working on potentially expanding the draft to two nights, there is still no confirmed date when these changes will be introduced.
After all, there are a plethora of minor details that need to be ironed out before the league rolls out these changes.
Silver mentioned that the league will have to talk to its broadcasting partners, such as ESPN and ABC.
But that’s not the end of it, as the NBA will also have to talk things out with the players.
All things considered, there are still at least a few years before the NBA can realistically make these changes.
Considering Silver’s recent decision of introducing an In-Season Tournament is working well, there is hope that the Commissioner will do a commendable job with potentially restructuring the NBA Draft.
