It’s safe to say that Adam Wainwright is enjoying his final season in Major League Baseball.

He has spent his entire career with the St. Louis Cardinals after being acquired in 2003 and has been one of their most durable pitchers ever since he closed out the 2006 World Series.

The 41-year-old also has a sense of humor that rubs off on his Cardinals teammates.

In his younger days, he used to dance in the dugout.

On Sunday, he enjoyed his Father’s Day at Citi Field by busting out some new dance moves in the dugout as the Cardinals played the final game of their series against the Mets.

The Cardinals posted the video on Twitter with a caption that read, “Dads at their kid’s wedding.”

Wainwright is a father of five children.

While he wasn’t around to see them on Sunday, he still made sure to enjoy his Father’s Day by pulling off some impressive dance moves.

The veteran right-hander has been around since 2005 and is a staple in Cardinals history.

But one thing that hasn’t changed for him over the years is his sense of humor.

Clearly, he was having a lot of fun on Sunday while in the dugout.

He pitched 6.1 innings on Saturday and allowed three Mets runs to record his first quality start since last August, so there were plenty of reasons for him to be dancing.

The Father’s Day dance moves were certainly impressive, and the veteran right-hander was clearly enjoying himself as he attempted to create a few smiles in New York.
