The Texas Rangers did not want to go down in this series without a fight.

After winning the first two games of the series on the road, the Rangers proceeded to lose all three at home.

Trailing 3-2 going to Houston, things looked bleak.

But, they did not have time to feel sorry for themselves.

The Rangers went into Houston and found a way to win another game.

One player who stepped up in a big way was Adolis Garcia.

It took longer than many hoped, but Garcia came through in his final at-bat of Game 6.

He launched a grand slam in the top of the ninth inning to give the Rangers much-needed insurance.

According to ESPN Stats & Info, Garcia is the first player in postseason history to hit a home run after striking out four times earlier in the game.

Garcia has always been a free swinger, but you take the good with the bad.

His first four at-bats were all bad.

But, he came through in his final at-bat to force a decisive Game 7.

Garcia has hit .277 with five home runs and 15 RBI this postseason.

He has come through time and time again with huge home runs.

In an odd series, the road teams have won every game.

If that happens again, the Rangers will be headed to the World Series.

The Rangers last made the World Series in 2011, but have never come home with the ultimate prize.

This Game 7 between AL West rivals should be one for the history books.
