Albert Pujols’ playing days may be over, but the future Hall-of-Famer isn’t done with baseball just yet.
Pujols is now an analyst on MLB Network.
But just last year, he was playing out his final season with the St. Louis Cardinals.
The veteran slugger got a chance to witness the greatness of Paul Goldschmidt and Nolan Arenado firsthand.
The two sluggers remain with the Cardinals, even in the midst of their struggles.
On MLB Network, Pujols talked about the greatness of Goldschmidt and Arenado and revealed what it was like to experience it firsthand while playing alongside the two of them.

Pujols first talked about Goldschmidt and gave the reigning National League MVP credit for being a “special player” and “great human being.”
The three-time NL MVP said he was impressed by the way Goldschmidt carried himself and went about his business on a daily basis.
He says the reason he’s able to be so successful is because of his work ethic and all the time he puts in to prepare for games.
He also praised his former teammate for not trying to do too much and keeping his approach simple.
As for Arenado, Pujols had many of the same things to say that he had said about Goldschmidt.
He gave Arenado credit for being very professional and putting in countless hours working on every aspect of his game.
Pujols recalled having watched him spend hours in the batting cages and out on the field working on his craft at third base.
The former Cardinals slugger acknowledged that both Goldschmidt and Arenado are struggling, but said that at the end of the year, the team will be able to count on them.
