The National Football League is a never-ending money-making machine.
Football continues to be king in American sports, and that usually translates into very lucrative deals.
That’s why it’s not much of a surprise to see that Amazon Prime is shelling out to make sure to get exclusive rights for one of their playoff games.
According to Michael McCarthy of Front Office Sports, Prime will pay a whopping $120 million to stream its first playoff game after the 2024 season.
The report also adds that Prime didn’t jump on board and missed the chance to get a playoff game this season, with Peacock making the most of the opportunity and streaming the Wild Card game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins.

Needless to say, it didn’t take long before they regretted that decision, as it was a massive success for the platform, even though several fans complained about it on social media.
Streaming services are here to stay, and this has become the new normal.
While it might seem impossible, the league continues to become more and more popular by the year, with the game reaching all corners of the Earth.
Prime will look to capitalize on this ever-growing product, and they already found plenty of success when they started their partnership with the league.
Some predict that the NFL will eventually have games all days of the week at some point in the near future, and streaming giants like Amazon Prime won’t want to be left behind in this race.
