The NFL Draft has become one of the most highly anticipated events in America.
After all the months of preparation leading up to the draft, we get three days of picks being made.
Seven rounds in total make up the draft, followed by plenty of undrafted free-agent signings.
Each year it seems like the draft gains more popularity.
That was the case this year due to the number of fans that watched.
According to Peter Schrager, there were 54 million people that watched the NFL Draft.

All great teams are built through the draft, as that has become the best way to build a strong roster.
The ratings for the draft will continue to go up each year as more people become interested.
While the NFL only plays games from September to February, the league has year-round interest.
From free agency to the draft to offseason workouts, everyone wants a piece of the NFL’s product.
Even though we only get to watch the draft for a short period, it is still one of the best events on the NFL calendar.
