The Dallas Cowboys have failed to get anything done in the offseason.

They’ve been the most disappointing team in the league for months now, as if getting blown out at home by the youngest team in the playoffs wasn’t bad enough.

Dak Prescott didn’t get a new contract, they lost several starters, they didn’t sign any of the top-notch free agents — particularly running backs — and they’ve now infuriated their best offensive player.

Nonetheless, as bad as everything looks in Arlington, NFL analyst Mike Golic Jr. believes it’s just a matter of time before a deal gets done.

Talking on his GoJo and Golic show, he stated that this stalemate speaks volumes about how Jerry Jones truly feels about his roster, as there’s not too much to be excited about on offense outside of Prescott and Lamb.

He stated that Prescott needs someone to throw the football to, so they will have no choice but to meet Lamb’s demands and get him signed sooner rather than later.

Notably, the Cowboys could’ve avoided this entire situation by signing him before Justin Jefferson got his deal.

Now, they will most likely have to pay up and give him more guaranteed money, and they only have themselves to blame for that.

The Cowboys have constantly infuriated their star players with their mind games and how they deal with their contract situations, which is one of the main reasons why they’re no longer a prime destination for free agents.
