The Arizona Cardinals made the big decision to draft stud Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. with the No. 4 overall pick in April’s NFL Draft.

The Biletnikoff Award-winner put up back-to-back 1,200-yard seasons in Columbus and is now looking to become a star in the NFL.

NFL Network analyst and former player Akbar Gbajabiamila believes that Harrison can break records that were set by Rams star wide receiver Puka Nacua.

“He’s coming into a situation where he is going to be the guy. He’s going to be the focal point…He may break Puka Nacua’s record,” Gbajabiamila recently said on Good Morning Football.

Nacua set major records as a member of the Rams last year.

His 105 receptions and 1,486 receiving yards both were new NFL rookie records.

Additionally, he set the record for most receptions by a rookie in one game (15) and the most receiving yards by a rookie in a playoff game (181).

If Harrison ends up putting up those types of numbers, who knows what the Arizona Cardinals could be this year?

The team finally has a healthy Kyler Murray under center, and they also aren’t expected to do very much because of how young they are and how tough the NFC West might be.

For Harrison, all he has to do is go out, play his game, and he could make an immediate impact because of his talent.

Yes, he is following in the footsteps of some great wide receivers such as Larry Fitzgerald and DeAndre Hopkins.

But judging by what he did at Ohio State and knowing his NFL genes, he looks to be up to the task of becoming a solid player out in the desert.
