Analyst Believes Dolphins Must Re-Sign Key Player

The Miami Dolphins paid Jaylen Waddle a lot of money.

He’s earned it, as the Dolphins have one of the best wide receiver tandems in the game.

Likewise, that means that Tyreek Hill should get legitimate market value.

Hill was once the highest-paid wide receiver in the game, with the Dolphins granting him that honor as soon as they traded for him.

That’s why some people expect them to do the same thing again by restructuring Hill’s contract at some point.

Per Craig Carton, that should be an easy decision for Mike McDaniel’s team.

“You don’t resign Tua without resigning Tyreek Hill.”

In the latest edition of The Carton Show, he argued that you just can’t re-sign Tua Tagovailoa without re-signing Hill as well.

Carton stated that as good as Tua was for them last season, you can’t afford to have him out there without his security blanket.

Of course, that makes sense.

Tua is next in line to get a massive payday, but he also needs to have his best offensive player out there and happy.

Hill has talked about his desire to retire with the Dolphins, and he’s been nothing but positive since arriving in South Beach.

Then again, he’s also a bit of a character, and he’s always made it loud and clear that he’s in it for the money, which there is nothing wrong with.

The Dolphins need to handle this situation carefully, but if they truly feel that Tua is their quarterback for the future, they must also double down on his best weapon.
