Andrew Luck entered the NFL as one of the league’s most highly-touted quarterback prospects in history.

Many analysts and scouts thought that Luck was the second coming of Peyton Manning and that he’d have a similar impact.

Despite finding success in the league, Luck retired early, a surprise to many fans across the league.

There has been widespread debate about Luck’s retirement, along with if he should be selected for the NFL Hall of Fame.

In a recent appearance on the Dan Patrick Show, Mike Florio outlined his case.

“He ain’t getting in,” Florio said.

He then went on to say, “I don’t think he’d ever expect to be in the Hall of Fame.”

Florio has a firm belief that Luck doesn’t deserve to make it, especially considering the caliber of the current players in the league.

Players like Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow are seemingly shoo-ins for the Hall of Fame, at least, if their fans have anything to say about it.

As Florio points out, if Luck were to be selected, it would lower the bar for others to make it in the future.

He mentioned Phillip Rivers and Eli Manning as examples.

If Luck made it, the committee would have to put Manning and Rivers in, per Florio.

While he doesn’t necessarily think Rivers and Manning should make it either, he thought they were better than Luck.

Plus, Luck only played in the league for seven seasons, a small sample size to make it into the Hall.
