Colin Cowherd believed that the Golden State Warriors were going to be a lot better this season.
But instead of competing for the top of the Western Conference, they are currently fighting in the Play-In Tournament.
Because of that, Cowherd thinks the team needs to attempt a big change this summer.
Speaking with Jason Timpf on The Volume, Cowherd agreed that the Warriors should try to sign Paul George, currently of the Los Angeles Clippers.
“I think that’s the guy, if you’re Golden State, you throw the kitchen sink at,” Timpf told Cowherd.

Timpf said that the team could be playoff contenders if they added George into the mix with Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and others.
Cowherd agreed and listed several players already with the Warriors who aren’t ready to lead, such as Jonathan Kuminga.
Could George be the missing piece that the team needs?
George averaged 22.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.5 assists during the 2023-24 season, shooting 471.% from the field and 41.3% from the three-point line.
He has done very well with the Clippers but there has been a lot of speculation about his future with the team.
It wouldn’t be shocking at all if he leaves Los Angeles this summer.
If George does part ways with the Clippers, there would be many teams attempting to sign him.
He is a nine-time All-Star and still has several years left in him because he is just 33.
However, George has a history of injuries, something that would be troubling to the Warriors.
Still, he could greatly assist the team and help them get back into true playoff form.
