The New York Jets briefly looked like they were going to be able to keep pace in the AFC, but the team has fallen apart in recent weeks.
The Jets suffered another embarrassing loss in Week 12 as they got blown out by the Miami Dolphins 34-13 and saw their playoff hopes evaporate.
New York trotted Tim Boyle out as their starting quarterback against Miami after head coach Robert Saleh decided to bench Zach Wilson.
Boyle didn’t fare any better than Wilson as the offense looked stuck in mud, much to the dismay of the Jets fans in attendance.
However, New York remains relevant in the media because Aaron Rodgers continues to defy expectations and progress toward a return.
Rodgers has teased he would try to play during the 2023 NFL season again and Emmanuel Acho believes the future Hall of Famer is looking to keep himself relevant via Speak.
“Aaron Rodgers is a glutton for fame and attention,” Acho said.

Acho points to several instances of Rodgers drawing attention to himself, most notably him returning to the field to support his teammates against the Buffalo Bills and throwing to staffers.
Rodgers certainly knows what he’s doing at this point when it comes to his rehab as he’s been able to progress much faster than anyone could have possibly imagined.
With New York opening up the 21-day practice window, Rodgers will be able to get a feel for his body and see whether or not he’s healthy enough to actually play.
If the Jets do end up activating and playing Rodgers, he’ll have done the near-impossible again.
