Week 13 of the NFL Season features several highly anticipated games.

With the regular season winding down, each game means significantly more for every team as they look to solidify their playoff positioning.

The matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the Philadelphia Eagles could be the game of the week.

Both teams are jockeying for the top spot in the NFC, and a win for either team could change the tides moving forward.

Willie Colon spoke on The Carton Show ahead of this game, calling it a “big legacy game” for Brock Purdy.

“This game coming up Sunday will define Brock Purdy. Big legacy game. You beat the Philadelphia Eagles at home, you’re him.”

After bursting on the scene last year, Purdy has had a few challenges in his second season.

He has thrown an uncharacteristic amount of interceptions, and while the 49ers still have a top record in the NFC, he needs to be careful, especially against the Eagles.

The last time these two teams met was last year’s NFC Championship, a game filled with injuries for the 49ers.

Purdy got injured during that game and could not hit the Eagles with everything he had.

As Colon mentions, Purdy has a real opportunity to shine in this game, establishing himself as the second quarterback of the year to take down the Eagles.

The 49ers are favored by three points in this matchup, indicating what oddsmakers think might happen.

There is a lot on the line in this game.

With any luck, it will live up to the promised fanfare, and fans will have an opportunity to enjoy a regular season matchup for the ages.
