The San Francisco 49ers are arguably the best team in football right now.
In fact, they’ve probably been the best team in the NFC for the last half-decade.
However, as successful as they’ve been in the regular season, they have not been able to close the deal in the playoffs.
They have been to the Super Bowl twice in five years but have not been able to win it.
This means that they have not brought home the Lombardi in three decades.
Basketball analyst Tim Hardaway Sr. made a great comparison recently on The Carton Show while talking about the pressure on San Francisco heading into 2024.
“The San Francisco 49ers are in the same boat as the Boston Celtics,” Hardaway Sr. stated.

The Celtics, like the 49ers, are one of the most storied franchises in sports.
In fact, Boston is considered by most to be the greatest franchise in the history of the NBA.
They have not won as much as they should’ve in recent history.
Boston is in the NBA Finals again for the second time in three years.
They have a chance to finally bring home another trophy and end a long drought by their standards.
San Francisco should be the best team in the NFC again this year.
If they can’t climb the mountaintop this year, despite being such a dominant regular season team, who knows how much more time this core on the team has left?
