Craig Carton doesn’t believe that Draymond Green is thinking about the rest of the Golden State Warriors and it’s truly hurting the team.

On Friday’s “The Carton Show,” Carton took issue with Green’s recent actions that led to yet another ejection during a game against the Orlando Magic.

“It’s always about you,” Carton said about Green, stressing that he needs to keep his teammates in mind when he gets upset on the court.

“What about the other 11 guys who give a rat’s a– and want to be in the postseason?” he asked.

“It’s always about you.”

It’s hard to not see some of Green’s actions as supremely selfish.

While it is understandable that he will get upset at the calls made in a game, he should remember that when he leaves his team, he greatly decreases their chances of winning.

For all his flaws and problems, Green is a supremely talented basketball player and a key part of the team.

It’s no surprise that the Warriors performed much better once Green returned from his lengthy suspension earlier in the season.

The Warriors need him now more than ever before because they are barely hanging onto the last spot in the Play-In Tournament.

They do not have a lot of room for error and the game against the Magic was a very important one.

Thankfully for them, they were able to win without Green but the entire evening was more difficult because of his ejection.

Green has always prided himself on being a team leader, someone who can inspire the rest of his squad and get them in a strong, competitive mindset.

That means he should consider how being ejected from games makes them far less competitive.
