Like clockwork, the Dallas Cowboys’ meltdown game of the season didn’t disappoint.
Year after year, Jerry Jones’ team enters the season with high hopes and expectations and then crumbles under pressure when it matters the most.
This time, it happened vs. the San Francisco 49ers, and now vs. the Buffalo Bills.
Of course, there should be no shame in losing to either team, as they both have strong rosters with more than enough resources to beat any team in the league.
However, the fact that the Cowboys have repeatedly let the fans down has often led to media overreactions.
With that in mind, former NFL star WR Victor Cruz said on the latest edition of The Carton Show that it almost seems like people are expecting these kinds of things to happen to the Cowboys every season because this is what they’ve always done over the past ten years or so.
“It’s almost like you wait for it every year. The Cowboys have always been a great regular season team. And then they get to the playoff and they collapse and crumble every single time.”

Truth be told, it seemed like this Cowboys team was finally going to get over the hump and would be the one to put their struggles behind them.
It surely seemed like this team had learned from their past mistakes and was ready to take a major leap forward to silence the critics once and for all.
Of course, they still have three games left in the season and they have already secured a playoff berth, so there’s still a chance they’ll be able to make a statement and prove that they’re also a force to be reckoned with.
