For years, foreign people have mocked Americans over their love for football and how the NFL champion is called the world champion, even though the league is only played on U.S. soil.

But as the years go by, the demand for NFL games all over the world keeps growing, and the game has become more popular all across the globe.

That became evident again as soon as the league started selling tickets for the upcoming matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins in Frankfurt, Germany, for next season.

According to NFL reporter Ari Meirov, it only took 15 minutes before the tickets sold out, going on sale at noon local time today.

Tickets for #Chiefs vs #Dolphins in Frankfurt, Germany went on sale at noon local time today. It took just 15 minutes for it to sell out.

Fans received a message showing that more than 1 million people (!!) were ahead of them in the queue.

Moreover, Meirov posted a picture of the queue of more than 1 million people who were also trying to purchase some tickets for the game.

Needless to say, this is a massive success for a game that continues to make great breakthroughs on international soil.

The NFL is no longer America’s ultimate hobby; fans from every corner of Earth are starting to enjoy it and embrace it, and football as a whole is also a sport on the rise.

Also, whenever you get the chance to watch Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce go against Tyreek Hill and Tua Tagovailoa, you make the most of that, especially if it might be your one and only opportunity to watch a football game live.

There has been plenty of speculation about a potential expansion overseas, and judging by the numbers, it might not be that far-fetched.
