The Los Angeles Lakers haven’t found much consistency this season.

Even so, their most inconsistent star finally brought his A-Game night in and night out.

For most of his Lakers tenure, Anthony Davis had drawn some heavy criticism for playing great one day and not so much in the next one, not to mention all the games he missed due to injuries.

That wasn’t the case this season, as he was their undisputed best player and only missed a handful of games.

Nonetheless, as good as he’s been, sports analyst Craig Carton is still unfazed by his game.

In the latest edition of The Carton Show, he gave some hints about his career to debate whether he should be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

He pointed out the fact that he’s made the playoffs less than half his years in the league and has only gotten past the first round three times despite making almost half a billion dollars as a player.

Carton also called him out for playing 62+ games in a season just once in the past six years, calling him the most overrated star ever.

Truth be told, Davis’ NBA career is slightly overrated.

He’s one of the greatest and most impactful players ever from a talent standpoint.

However, he’s won at the NCAA, NBA, and Olympic levels, playing a major role in all championships, so it’s not like he’s been carried for most of his career.

Now, whether he had a better career than, say, Dwight Howard — who inexplicably didn’t make the Top-75 list — is a different story.
