The start of the 2023-24 NBA regular season is right around the corner for all 30 teams in the league, including the Philadelphia 76ers, who have still yet to figure out what to do with the toxic situation involving superstar guard James Harden.
Even though Harden has shown up to training camp and hasn’t caused any problems with his teammates in Philadelphia as of yet, he has yet to rescind his trade request, meaning he still hopes to be traded at some point between now and the start of the season.
Harden’s top destination of choice, even though it’s not his decision to make at this point, is the Los Angeles Clippers, which have engaged in trade talks with the 76ers on a number of occasions over the last few months.
For whatever reason, the two teams haven’t been able to see eye-to-eye on a deal, which has brought everything to a halt even though it appears both sides want to get something done sooner rather than later.
If Harden were to get traded to the Clippers, it would be a star-studded roster that could compete with the best of them in the NBA on paper.
However, there’s no telling whether it would work, but former player Antonio Daniels believes it would be must-see TV regardless via SiriusXM NBA Radio.

Daniels isn’t wrong in his assessment, as the Clippers would instantly become one of the more intriguing teams to watch on the basketball floor this season, with four legitimate superstars at different stages in their careers.
The combination of Harden, Kawhi Leonard, Russell Westbrook, and Paul George would definitely turn a lot of heads, even if it didn’t end up working out on the court.
