Over the course of a long career as a head coach, whether it be on the college or NFL level, Jim Harbaugh has proven to be one of the best in the business at what he does, even though he can be a bit odd and quirky at times with the media and his players.
Despite being one of the most interesting and perplexing personalities in the game, few question whether he can do the job right while successfully turning a football team around and getting the most out of his players.
After a successful stint at his alma mater, the University of Michigan, Harbaugh craved an opportunity to return to the NFL and win that elusive Vince Lombardi Trophy, which his brother John Harbaugh won with the Baltimore Ravens against Jim’s San Francisco 49ers.
Jim Harbaugh is now the head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers, and he has betting analyst Steve Coughlin thinking that he might be up to his old tricks, via ESPN Bet.
“I’d worry about [Jim Harbaugh] doing things maybe a little unorthodox to prove a point,” the man known as “Stanford Steve” said.

Last season was a disaster for the Chargers, as the team couldn’t get on track under head coach Brandon Staley, who was fired after giving up 63 points to the AFC West-rival Las Vegas Raiders late in the year.
Only time will tell whether Jim Harbaugh’s latest stint in the NFL will be a success, especially with superstar quarterback Justin Herbert already dealing with an injury in training camp.
