After just one whole season with the team, James Harden is officially done with the Philadelphia 76ers.
The NBA world was abuzz on Thursday when it was announced that Harden was going to demand a trade from the 76ers when free agency begins on Friday.
But few people were really surprised because Harden has acted like this in the past.
NBA analyst Freddie Coleman was fired up about Harden, his personality, and his lack of loyalty on Friday morning.
“James Harden wants to win, but he wants to win on his terms,” Coleman said on First Take.
He continued: “He wants to be the guy, but he’s never been the guy that you can trust to win a championship.”
Coleman concluded: “Let’s be honest, the best fit for James Harden has been Team James Harden.”

Coleman said that Harden has done this again and again throughout his time in the NBA.
In fact, he has left his last three teams in a similar fashion.
He departed from the Houston Rockets in a rather controversial and contested way.
Then, a short time later, he demanded a trade from the Brooklyn Nets too.
Now he is doing the same thing with the Sixers.
This continues a pattern that likely won’t end after his time with the Los Angeles Clippers or whichever team he ends up with.
At this point, it wouldn’t be surprising if Harden goes to this new team and then leaves it after just a season or two when things don’t work exactly as he’d like.
Coleman warned the Clippers and the rest of the league that they cannot rely on Harden to stick around.
Loyalty has never been his strong suit.
There is no doubt that Harden is a very talented basketball star.
But he will always be known as a player who just can’t seem to settle down with one team for very long.
