The New York Jets have everything they need to make a deep postseason run.
However, they need to focus on football and football only if they want to make the most of their potential.
Of course, they knew what they were signing up for when they traded for Aaron Rodgers, so none of his antics should come as a surprise.
Then again, with the season just around the corner, the future Hall of Famer should perhaps take a different approach with the media.
At least, that’s what ESPN anchor Michelle Smallmon believes.
In the latest edition of ESPN Radio’s UNSPORTSMANLIKE, she urged Rodgers not to embarrass her.

She claimed that she put herself out there for being one of the few members of the media that’s still rooting for him and has faith in him, almost begging him to keep the main thing the main thing and just focus on football.
Smallmon told him that he didn’t have to give his point of view about everything and that he could just keep some things to himself, as no one would have anything to say about him if he just balls out and plays how he is supposed to play.
At the end of the day, you don’t have to like everybody as a person, but you can judge them based on their profession.
So, if Rodgers leads the Jets to a deep postseason run, that’s all the sports media and even the fans will ever care about.
