Joe Burrow began training camp with an injury, immediately causing concern among the Cincinnati Bengals fanbase.

Burrow has been the heart and soul of this team since he was drafted, bringing them to back-to-back AFC Championships.

While there was initial concern regarding Burrow’s well-being, he was recently spotted at practice.

This was certainly exciting for Bengals fans, but it still raised a question about when he’ll return to play.

Emmanuel Acho detailed that Burrow should start Week 1 on a recent installment of “Speak” on FS1.

“I don’t know if Joe Burrow has the luxury of sitting out,” Acho said.

Acho’s comments came on the heels of Burrow returning to practice.

Now that it appears that he is getting back to full health, many have wondered if his absence has been contract-related.

Acho discussed the leadership qualities quarterbacks like Burrow need to possess.

He described quarterbacks as “leaders,” and people who need to be “selfless.”

The Bengals haven’t signed Burrow to a massive contract extension, which is what many fans expected to happen ahead of the 2023 season.

His injury was a likely complication for a deal being done, as the team did not initially know the severity.

Assuming Burrow is fully healthy, Acho believes he needs to be out on the field.

He talked about the Bengals’ “slow start” last season, a contributing factor in their lack of hosting a playoff game.

Burrow has just a few days to get himself together, ready to take on the upcoming year.

Will Bengals fans see Burrow on the field in Week 1?
