The Philadelphia Eagles are no longer undefeated.
Even when they were 5-0, some people were worried about their offensive displays, stating that they hadn’t performed up to the expectations.
The Eagles couldn’t get past the New York Jets’ stout defense, and while there should be no shame in losing to such a good team, it seems like Howie Roseman lost some sleep over that loss.
That’s why NFL analyst Craig Carton put the Eagles on blast for signing Julio Jones.
“After your first loss of the season, to panic and bring in A.J. Brown’s best friend is pathetic.”

In the latest edition of his show, he made fun of the Eagles and claimed they were panicking.
Carton called this move ‘pathetic’ because they know Jones is far beyond his prime and can’t give them anything because he cannot play NFL football any longer.
He also stated that it was a ‘joke’ and a ‘clown move’ to sign A.J. Brown’s best friend just because they lost one game.
Instead, Carton believes the Eagles should’ve just said, ‘Well, no one goes 17-0; we’ll go back to playing Eagles football and have D’Andre Swift running the ball more often.’
The Eagles are still one of the teams to beat in the league, and one loss won’t change that.
They do need to make some minor tweaks — just like everybody else in the league — and they don’t look as good as they looked last season, but signing Julio Jones doesn’t exactly move the needle.
Even so, who knows? If he’s half the player he once was, they just got a major steal at an insane discount.
