The Oklahoma City Thunder are now 5-0 in the playoffs.

It turns out that the No. 1 team in the Western Conference is actually pretty good.

Mark Daigneault’s team managed to keep the Dallas Mavericks’ explosive backcourt in check, and Luka Doncic had his worst game of the postseason.

That’s why NBA analyst Jason Timpf claimed that even though his knees aren’t 100% healthy, no one is fully healthy at this point in the season, so he’s not going to get any sympathy points from him (via The Volume).

“You’re not getting sympathy points from anybody, you have to find a way to be better”

He claimed that the Mavericks don’t stand a chance if they get outhustled by the Thunder, and they simply cannot afford to lose the physical battle.

Timpf also said that Doncic needs to find a way to be better, and there are no excuses for the way he played in Game 1.

Doncic had 19 points on 19 shots, going 1-for-8 from beyond the arc and turning the ball over five times.

Timpf argued that the Thunder have better shot creators than the Los Angeles Clippers, so the Mavericks are going to have to hustle and work very hard to get past the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference.

The Mavericks excelled in the first round, and most analysts believe they could be a dark horse to come out of the West and make it to the NBA Finals for the first time in over a decade.

For that to happen, Doncic has to be the same scoring machine he was in the regular season, and not the erratic shooter we saw in the first game of the series.
