The New Orleans Pelicans picked Zion Williamson with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.
Williamson was expected to instantly become one of the best players in the league,
Unfortunately, injuries have played a crucial role in holding back the potential superstar.
But in the games that he has played in his short career, Williamson has looked insane in terms of scoring and dominating the paint.
However, NBA analyst Kevin O’Connor noted via his official Twitter handle that Williamson’s playmaking skills are extremely underrated.

Being 6-foot-6 and over 280 pounds, Williamson is undoubtedly one of the strongest players in the NBA.
Moreover, he plays as a power forward for the Pelicans.
Usually, power forwards aren’t expected to create openings for teammates, but Zion evidently doesn’t step back from it.
During the 2022-23 season, he averaged 4.6 assists per game, a new career high for the former No. 1 overall pick.
While it’s great that Williamson has added another layer to his game, fans still want to see him healthy for most of the season.
The 23-year-old played just 29 games last season.
He was sidelined due to a hamstring injury for the majority of the season.
As for the 2023-24 season, Williamson looks in great shape and has apparently shed some weight as well.
Williamson recorded 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists in 15 minutes of action during the Pelicans’ first NBA preseason game against the Orlando Magic.
