The New York Jets have some lofty expectations this season.
With four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers back healthy after a tough 2023 season, this team is ready to compete for a Super Bowl.
Craig Carton believes the Jets are ready to win because they have one of the best rosters in the league.
“Aaron Rodgers stays on the field, the New York Jets are the best team in football talent-wise…The Jets are going 15-2,” Carton stated recently on “The Carton Show.”

On paper, Robert Saleh’s team is quite good.
They have the elite quarterback in Rodgers.
They revamped the offensive line with multiple, major moves at offensive tackle this offseason.
Big-play wide receiver Mike Williams was brought in to play alongside Garrett Wilson and Rodgers.
Breece Hall is the stud 1,500-yard scrimmage back.
Oh, the defense is also one of the elite units in all of the NFL.
On paper, this team is ready to go.
The franchise hasn’t made the playoffs since 2010, which is the longest drought in the league.
They also haven’t had a record above .500 in any season since then.
Of course, they also haven’t won the Super Bowl since before the moon landing.
The city is dying for Aaron Rodgers and Robert Saleh to rescue them.
In 2024, the expectations for fans should be tempered.
At the same time, the Jets should make the playoffs.
They need to end the long drought and prove that they can contend right now.
If they do that, the mission is accomplished for this season and the Super Bowl will be the next goal.
