It’s an exciting time to be a New York Jets fan.
The team has been through hell and back over the past couple of decades, but they now finally have a top-notch roster.
On top of that, trading for Aaron Rodgers has obviously given them a privileged status among their peers.
And according to NFL analyst Kyle Brandt, they’re going to be among the league’s finest teams next season, with Rodgers being in the MVP conversation and them going the distance to win the whole thing.

Notably, that’s exactly what the Jets were striving for when they traded for Rodgers.
There’s no point in morale victories, and just making it to the playoffs or winning their division simply won’t be good enough; they need to win the Super Bowl as well.
As great as Rodgers is and as much as he could and should raise their floor and ceiling, he’s not getting any younger.
The word around the league is that Rodgers only intends to play for a couple more years, so the Jets could be right back to square one in 2025.
That would all be worth it if they won at least one Super Bowl during Rodgers’ tenure.
The Jets have one of the best defensive units in the game, and most of their core is still quite young, so they should be good even when Rodgers is long gone.
But they need to make the most of his opportunity before their Super Bowl window closes right before their eyes.
