Even in year 21, LeBron James continues to post some of the best stats in the NBA.

Notably, most of those stats have been empty, as they haven’t exactly translated to winning basketball games.

His team has struggled to find any sort of consistency this season.

He doesn’t look happy about that and, like clockwork, shared a cryptic tweet hinting at time running out just days before the trade deadline.

That’s why sports analyst David Jacoby believes he’s not going to be in Los Angeles next season.

Talking on The Carton Show, Jacoby predicted that James would leave because he doesn’t want to keep playing for a Play-In team for the remainder of his career:

“LeBron James is not going to be on the Lakers next year,” Jacoby said.

“LeBron James is not going to be on the #Lakers next year.”

James could technically leave at the end of the season because of his contract, but it won’t be that simple.

For starters, his whole family is established in Los Angeles, and so is his business headquarters.

Then again, his son Bronny will likely be drafted next season, and he’s made it loud and clear that he wants to team up with him once that happens, so that’s a possibility they need to address.

LeBron has always gotten praise for being a great leader, yet most of his teams often go through major roster overhauls when he’s around.

He’s one of the best to ever do it and, as such, has earned every right to go out on his own terms, whether that’s in Los Angeles or anywhere else.
