With the departure of Aaron Rodgers now official, the NFC North is officially back up for grabs.
The Green Bay Packers have, for the most part, owned the division as of late, winning the title eight times since 2010.
A new champion is likely brewing, with the Packers slated to take a step back in production.
Many around the league have predicted that the Detroit Lions are a shoo-in for this title, given their offensive prowess.
However, on a recent installment of ‘Speak,” Emmanuel Acho detailed his prediction, the Minnesota Vikings.
Acho pointed to several contributing factors to this decision, including the addition of Jordan Addison and T.J. Hockenson.

Hockenson is routinely in the conversation regarding the best tight ends in the league.
He joined the Vikings during the 2022 season via a trade with the Lions and didn’t look back.
With any luck, he’ll be able to continue to be a safety blanket for Kirk Cousins, on the Vikings’ hunt to win the division.
Jordan Addison is a highly-touted receiving prospect, and he should be a great replacement for Adam Thielen, as Acho indicated.
Plus, the Vikings have Justin Jefferson as their WR1, one of the best receivers in the league.
With all of that said the Vikings could find themselves on a fast track to win the NFC North.
Last season, however, their defense was among the league’s worst in terms of points allowed, giving up 25.1 points per game.
If they are able to get that aspect under control with a new DC at the helm, the sky could be the limit for this Vikings roster.
