The New York Jets entered the season as the team to beat in the AFC, at least on paper.
But with Aaron Rodgers missing the entire season — or seemingly so — with an Achilles injury, their aspirations went down the drain right before their eyes.
However, NFL analyst — and well-known New York Jets fan — Mike Greenberg believes they can still win the division this season.
Talking on ESPN’s Get Up, he explained that Robert Saleh’s team could take the AFC East by storm because the Buffalo Bills are looking quite vulnerable, and they still need to play the Miami Dolphins.
“I’m telling you right now, the New York Jets can still win the AFC East.”

The New England Patriots are also a long shot to make the playoffs, and with Zach Wilson playing slightly better by the week, they do have a chance to win the division, even if that seemed crazy just one month ago.
However, Jeff Saturday believes the Jets aren’t good enough to win the division.
He feels like that minor progress shown by Wilson won’t be enough, as the offense will need to score more than field goals if they want to stand a chance against some other teams.
Greenberg believes that Aaron Rodgers could still be back at some point this season, and that could obviously change the entire picture for the Jets.
They do have one of the best defenses in the league and a plethora of playmakers on offense.
But as of now, it seems like the picture in the AFC is kind of blurry, and it could legitimately be up for grabs.
