There has been a lot of conversation this offseason on television networks and in league circles about whether or not Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is a great quarterback.
The two-time Pro-Bowler has guided the Bills to four consecutive AFC East titles and has repeatedly proven how tough of an opponent he is.
Fox Sports’s Craig Carton believes Allen is an elite player.
“Josh Allen, since he came into the league, has been a top 10 quarterback and in some years, top five,” Carton recently said on The Carton Show.

Allen is one of those players who has the ability to hoist the team up on his shoulders even when the team might not be good enough to win on a particular Sunday.
En route to winning the AFC East each of the last four seasons, the former Wyoming star has put up over 4,800 total yards and 40+ scrimmage touchdowns in each of those years.
He has thrown for over 4,000 yards in each of the last four seasons, but an underrated part of his game is his running ability.
In five of his first six NFL seasons, Allen has rushed for over 500 yards and at least six touchdowns.
No, he isn’t Lamar Jackson or Michael Vick, but defenders might jump out of their shoes when they see a 6-5, 240-pound quarterback barreling downhill straight for them.
Allen has had some turnover issues as he has thrown 10+ interceptions in five of his first six seasons.
However, that is proof that he is willing to take chances in order to win.
If he can tone down the turnover numbers, he could take the Bills farther than they’ve ever been in his first season without Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis since 2019.
