With several series ending in sweeps or gentleman’s sweeps, the Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Clippers are keeping competition alive in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
Both teams have gone back and forth, and even though some games looked like potential blowouts, they’ve managed to make it interesting down the stretch.
The series is tied at two wins apiece, and it’ll head back to Southern California for Game 5 at Crypto.com Arena.
Nonetheless, as much as the Clippers have played better without Kawhi Leonard — and they’ve actually lost both games in which he played — former NBA star Tim Hardaway Sr. believes the Mavs will take Game 5.

In the latest edition of “The Carton Show,” he talked about how he thinks Luka Doncic is due for a big game in Los Angeles and will hit some shots to uplift his team past Tyronn Lue’s squad.
Granted, Hardaway might be a little biased, as his son happens to play for the Mavericks.
Truth be told, it’s hard to make a prediction about this series.
The Clippers have a huge advantage in the coaching department, as Jason Kidd has yet to prove himself in that regard.
But the Mavericks have been fairly good when their defense is on point, and they have the personnel to match up with the Clippers.
Both teams have been elite and inconsistent at the same time, and you just don’t know which version of them you’re going to come across, which is why this series could pretty much go either way.
