The Milwaukee Bucks ended the 2023-24 season as the third seed in the Eastern Conference.
On paper, their 49-33 record is admirable but it doesn’t mean they don’t have a lot of problems.
In fact, Ric Bucher thinks that the sixth-seed Indiana Pacers have a very good shot at beating the Bucks in the first round of the playoffs, via “Undisputed.”

He’s not the only one.
The Bucks have been heading in the wrong direction lately, while the Pacers have been on the upswing.
Milwaukee has lost six of their last eight games while the Pacers have won five of their last seven.
Things have been rough for the Bucks recently, with a lot of questions surrounding Doc Rivers’ plans and the health status of Giannis Antetokounmpo.
This was not the way things were supposed to be for them this year.
When the season kicked off, people were expecting great things for the Bucks because of the addition of Damian Lillard, who was going to add a huge boost to the team’s offense.
Instead, the team has never truly found its new identity.
They might be the third seed but the Bucks are considered very beatable by many fans.
And if they lose in the first round of the playoffs, there will be even more questions about the team.
The Bucks were the top seed in the East last year but were overcome by the Miami Heat at the start of the playoffs, partly because Antetokounmpo was injured.
Now he is hurt again, the Bucks have been losing a lot of games, and they are about to battle a formidable opponent.
Is Bucher right and are the Bucks going to get pushed out of the opening round?
