The Baltimore Ravens took care of business.

They struggled to find any sort of momentum early in the game vs. the Houston Texans, but they made some sound adjustments in the second half, using short passes to open up space for the running game.

Lamar Jackson and Todd Monken’s offense rallied and sealed their trip to the AFC Championship Game.

This time, however, they’re going to face a tougher challenge, as they’ll have to host Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

The reigning Super Bowl champions seem to be peaking at the right time, and you never want to come across Pat Mahomes in a win-or-go-home situation.

Nonetheless, as much trouble as they could be in, NFL analyst Craig Carton believes the Ravens shouldn’t find that much trouble getting past Andy Reid’s team.

“I think Baltimore beats the Chiefs,” Carton said.

Talking on The Carton Show, he claimed that the reigning Super Bowl champions mostly beat the Buffalo Bills because they were so decimated by injuries on defense.

He wasn’t impressed by Travis Kelce’s two-touchdown game, adding that he was mostly wide-open during the game.

He might have a valid point, and the Ravens won’t have second or third-stringers on defense on Sunday, but that might not make much of a difference.

We’re talking about the best quarterback, best offensive play-caller, and best tight end in the game.

This team has been there and done that way too many times already.
