The Detroit Lions were one of the most surprising teams from the 2022 NFL Season.
After beginning the season on a cold streak, they quickly turned things around, finishing the year with a 9-8 record.
This may have kept them out of the playoffs, but they won over a lot of fans with their underdog mentality.
As they head into 2023, the Lions have heightened expectations, hoping to win the NFC North for the first time in franchise history.
In a recent clip from ‘Good Morning Football,’ Kyle Brandt said, “It’s not crazy at all for the Lions to be the favorites” in the division.

Aaron Rodgers has moved on from the Green Bay Packers who have dominated the division over the past decade.
The Minnesota Vikings won the North last season, but the public opinion on them is slowly souring.
Why not the Lions?
They had one of the most explosive offenses in the league last year but were often let down by a lackluster defense.
If they can turn that unit around, there’s no telling what their ceiling might be this season.
Brandt isn’t the only analyst to think the Lions will win the division this season.
Their gambling odds keep inching up, as sportsbooks are starting to share this belief as well.
With less than a month until the season starts, Lions fans won’t need to wait long to see if this prediction comes to fruition.
The NFC is wide open, and if the Lions make the playoffs, they could surprise a lot of people.
