The Dallas Cowboys took care of business on Thursday Night Football, taking down the Seattle Seahawks in a heavily-contested battle.

This was a much-needed victory for the Cowboys, bringing them that much closer to the Philadelphia Eagles in the divisional race.

While Dak Prescott played well in this game, Booger McFarland tweeted about next week’s Eagles game being a bigger deal, especially for Prescott’s MVP chances.

Dak Prescott will have a chance next Sunday to climb to the top of the mvp race with pivotal game vs the Eagles. He is playing the best ball of his career at the most important time !! Rayne Dakota Prescott

As McFarland mentions, Prescott can make a statement to the rest of the league by beating the Eagles next week.

He will show that he can go toe-to-toe with one of the NFL’s best teams, performing well in the face of adversity.

Plus, this game is a prime opportunity for the Cowboys to get revenge on the Eagles, who defeated them earlier in the year by five points.

In that game, Prescott did manage to throw for nearly 400 yards and three touchdowns, but it was not enough to overcome the Eagles’ offense.

This should be one of the most highly-anticipated matchups of the week, given the star power on both sides and the playoff implications in this game.

Prescott has started to heat up recently, which is why he is even mentioned in the MVP conversation.

However, many people doubted his abilities heading into the year, as they did not believe Prescott had enough juice left in him.

He has proven them wrong to this point in the year, and a win over the Eagles would be a needed exclamation point in his season.
