Heading into Wild Card Weekend, the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs will play host to Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

This first-round playoff showdown between these two AFC heavyweights will be a matchup of two teams with something to prove, as the Chiefs haven’t been the dominant force of old while the Dolphins want to show they can contend with any team on the football field, especially after a disappointing end to the regular season.

Of all the star players that will be involved in this playoff game during Wild Card Weekend, Emmanuel Acho of FOX Sports believes superstar tight end Travis Kelce is the player under the most pressure to perform on Saturday in Kansas City.

Much like the Chiefs offense, Kelce hasn’t looked like the dominant force of old, as he’s seemingly taken a step back this season from being one of the elite tight ends in the league, which means he’ll have much to prove in this game via Speak On FS1.

“Nobody cares what you are doing until you’re not doing what you are supposed to be doing,” Acho said of Kelce.

During the 2023 NFL regular season, Kelce caught 93 passes for 984 yards and five touchdowns, which would be impressive for an average tight end in the league, but he’s set the bar much higher due to his performances over the years.

If the Chiefs end up losing to the Chiefs and Kelce doesn’t have a solid performance, there will be a lot of talk heading into the NFL offseason about whether he’s truly lost a step and if the downside of his career in the NFL has officially begun.
